Hockey demands strength, speed, balance, and resilience—and yoga is the perfect cross-training tool to unlock all of these.
Through Yoga 4 Hockey, players build flexibility, mobility, and core stability while also learning breathwork and mindfulness techniques that improve focus, recovery, and mental toughness. The result? Healthier bodies, sharper minds, and a more sustainable approach to the game.
I’m currently working with the Seattle Junior Hockey 18U-B Mets, and it’s been inspiring to see how quickly players notice the benefits—both on and off the ice.
Right now, I have space to take on 1–2 additional teams (youth, adult, or professional). We typically begin with a trial class, followed by a 6-week series to help the practice stick and give players a real chance to see results.
Whether your team is chasing championships or just playing for the love of the game, yoga can help build the strength, mobility, and resilience to keep players performing at their best.
If you’re interested in bringing yoga to your team, reach out and let’s schedule a trial session.

I'm a beer league player who picked up hockey as an adult. As an older skater, I’ve been focusing on building strength, improving mobility, and prioritizing recovery. I attended a restorative yoga session for hockey players with Adam before a late-night league game—and it was a game-changer.
What stood out was how different it felt from a typical studio class. The sequence seemed thoughtfully designed for hockey players—each pose had a purpose, and nothing felt random or like filler. It was clear the flow was built with skaters in mind.
It might be a coincidence, but after a season-long scoring drought, I ended up netting two goals that night. I’ll take that kind of recovery and performance boost any day.

*Okay, we can't guarantee this one, but improving your balance, strength, mobility, and recovery will almost certainly result in more points on the board.
